By downloading or using Sats Stack, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms apply to the Sats Stack application and the satsstack.app website.

2. Personal use

Sats Stack is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use it to manage your own finances. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercialize the app without explicit written permission. The source code is available under the MIT license — see the GitHub repository for details.

3. No financial advice

Sats Stack is a budgeting and tracking tool. Nothing in the app or on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The "Fiat Leak Rate" and other metrics are informational only. Make your own financial decisions and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.

4. No warranty

Sats Stack is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of data displayed in the app. Bitcoin prices, wallet balances, and transaction data come from third-party sources and may be delayed or incorrect.

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial data through authoritative sources (your bank, your node, blockchain explorers) before making any financial decisions.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sats Stack and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or income, arising from your use of the app.

In particular: Sats Stack is not liable for any financial loss resulting from incorrect data, software bugs, or your reliance on the app for financial decisions. This is especially important for a financial application — always independently verify critical financial information.

6. Open source

The Sats Stack application source code is available under the MIT license. Use, modification, and distribution are governed by that license. These Terms of Service apply to the hosted website and official app distributions only.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We'll post the updated effective date when changes are made.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
